We refer to this control as Advanced because the operating functions are fully adjustable. Both the darkness turn-on level and the shut-down delay can be set to your own requirements. This module is manufactured right here in New York City, using the best components we could find, not the cheapest.
The above photo shows the control module. The turn-on and shut-down adjustments are clearly visable on the side. Electrical connetions are made via the screw terminal barrier strip shown. This unit is 2.7 inches wide and 2.4 deep and .8 inches high. The weight is just 5 ounces.

OEM version: The control is supplied with a wire harness, ~ 8 inches long and is terminated with a female Molex plug. There is no screw terminal. It is also supplied with the photocell, two diode stacks (foward & reverse) and two extra 12VDC automotive relays. Price: $ 137.50
Advanced Headlight Control Module Features:
There is no need to purchase an additional relay. Internal power relay can switch up to 35 amps(20A continuous,35A Max).
Turns headlights on when dark. Turns headlamps off when light. No more dead batteries from forgetting to turn the lights off. Adjustable darkness trigger threshold. This can be set to turn on the headlamps from fully dark to heavy overcast. Darkness turn on delay: about 8 seconds No relay chatter or short cycling. Minimum latch up time: 1 1/2 minutes.
Turns headlights on with windshield wipers. There is no lighting delay when activated by the wipers.
Turn off delay: when the lights are on (photocell command) and the ignition is switched off, the headlights will remain on for about 25 seconds. Shutdown time is adjustable from ~ 8 seconds to ~ 2 minutes.
Terminal strip connection. Need not be permanently wired in. Easily removed and reinstalled in other vehicles.
Very tiny photocell with long leads. Can be placed almost anywhere for optimum operation and is easy to hide. Even longer leads are available, or you can attach your own extension. Polarity need not be observed.
Very small and light weight, easy to install under the dash as it can be hung on the wiring harness with a tie wrap.
